We’re all about saving time, making templates to make life easier, and making what we use work for us. Taking back ANY amount of time in our day, even 5 minutes, is a great way to be able to get one more thing done, one more something ready, or spend less time after school taking care of one extra something. Sometimes it is just about not having to explain ourselves again! Here’s 6 time saving resources that you can snag from me, or create yourself to save yourself time in the long run!
Student Partner Cards
No arguing, no trying to get their bestie, and it’s musical. Have students pick a card and find their partner. This little thing saves time every time your students need to find a partner so you can get to work more quickly.
This set uses musical instruments to partner up to 36 students.
Student Praise Notes Home
I’ve talked before about the value of sending home communication for positive things. We have students for 6 years (K-5) and building relationships with families means communicating with them. When you have hundreds of students, that can be difficult, but these FREE templates are easy to print, pre-write names, and make sure all your students get a chance to send something positive home.
Checklists
Remembering everything you have to do for every event really can cause some last minute panic moments. Having a way to check if you’ve covered everything is a great way to save yourself time, especially when it is a large event! One of the keys here is if you write a checklist for an event, save it for next year so you don’t have to try to remember everything! Visual Schedule
There are a lot of reasons we should use a visual schedule. It’s good for all your students. It helps set expectations, helps them focus, and empowers them to manage themselves.
