If you’re like me, you’re always looking for new ways to engage your students in music learning. But I understand how hard this is on a cart.

Rather than give up (something I know you awesome teachers never do!), I’m always on the lookout for resources that may be perfect for teaching a la cart.

With this in mind, I recently got these amazing magnetic music materials from EZNotes.

These are PERFECT for magnetic carts. I have a black cart so I don’t have dry erase capabilities and I’m not sure longevity on the other colors of the Harbor Freight carts.

Full disclosure: I was sent this product to review and give my honest opinion. All of these thoughts are my own. I did not receive any compensation for my review nor will I receive any compensation if you decide to purchase.

All opinions expressed are my own and not influenced by the company in any way. I would only recommend something that I would use myself and think would be beneficial to my followers.

The great thing I’ve been saying about the Harbor Freight Cart is that when the lid is flipped up it becomes a teaching space. These fit with room to spare on the side, are dry erase and magnetic. (They also have sticky options.)

EZ Notes Review

EZ Notes Staff

This staff is fabulous with the option for these cute little foam treble and bass clefs. This is going to be great for note reading. It’s dry erase, moveable, and can easily go up on my whiteboard when I’m in my classroom next year.

The staff can be found here, and the treble and bass clef can be found here.

I also love that the big bingo chips from the Target dollar spot fit in the spaces. I put a little magnet on the back of each of them and they fit right on there.

The magnet options from the magnetic tape aren’t super strong but if you like the idea of magnets instead of dry erase, EZ Notes has a pack of 26 notes in 3 colors for $6.

These would not only work for sharps and flats, but if you wanted to put 2 different patterns up at the same time these would be great. They’ll also work if you don’t want to constantly have to erase and rewrite.

EZ Notes Keyboard

This doesn’t seem like an obvious one to have for general music if you aren’t teaching piano, but I love using the keyboard even when my kids are little talking about steps and skips.

I use it for my older kids when we learn about half steps, whole steps, and scales.

EZ Notes Magnetic Bar

This is awesome and a lot more than a little magnet.  What I really like about this is that it allows for a few papers right next to the staff if you are using the Harbor Freight cart.

It’s also flat enough to leave on the outside of the cart all the time. It can be found here.

Where To Get EZ Notes

So Laura from EZ Notes was SUPER awesome and is offering this code “Teacher25″ for you to get 25% off your purchase.

Even more awesome, if you make a note “Free Clefs” when you order the staff and the keyboard together you can get the treble and bass clef for free.

Hope this is helpful!
