Description
A visually dynamic game for all ages, and a sub tub essential!
This game from the Music or Not set includes 40 different questions that are either a painting or a named symphony. (Artist and composer last names included.)
Includes:
Game directions
Two print options for the game cards: color and black & white.
Two different font options – one more visually engaging for older students, and one for your younger students.
Here are some ideas for using the game:
• Emergency sub plans for all ages (Even little ones can have fun with this!)
• Perfect because your sub does not have to be a music person. Print the game cards and the lists only and keep it no tech and low paper!
• Open House Activity
• End of class reward
• Game Day
• Game at the beginning or end of a symphony unit
• Cross-curricular activity with Art Studies

After how well the Instrument or River? game went with my sub, I just needed to pick up this game as well! I love that I don’t need to make tons of copies for this plan. Thank you!

SO happy you love it! 🙂

My kids loved it! I’d really enjoy being able to show the students the piece of artwork or hear a snipit of the symphony once the answer is revealed. If that was included, I’d buy all of these in a heartbeat! Plus, it’d last longer for a substitute and would offer more discussion opportunities. That’s not to say that whoever buys this can’t look the symphony and art up beforehand to show the students! That would just be a lot of browser windows to toggle at once. (I could put then in a powerpoint slide quick…) Thank you!!

Hi! I’d love to be able to do something like that, but I cannot due to copyright restrictions on much of the work.

Very fun game for my students. They love the no-risk atmosphere and are able to just be silly and have fun with it. I usually will show the painting or play a little of the song just to give some context.

This product is very engaging. I wish their were links on the slides to show students after they make their guesses.

A lot of fun to try and guess! I use with the whole grade and the kids have fun seeing how often they are right.
